So much truth in one simple statement.

Food is very important to me.

And I don't know about you, but when I don't have it I tend to get a little "hangry".

So, if you happened to have an encounter with me on Monday morning anytime before 12:30 PM - let me just apologize now.

I had my glucose test that morning and was therefore not allowed to eat.

Cruel & unusual punishment could be another name for it.

Ah, the joys of pregnancy.

11 weeks until we meet our guy :)

Wed. Words of Wisdom

Ok seriously - this needs to be my mantra .

In starting this blog I'm honestly not quite sure what direction I want to take it in yet .

Will it be strictly about my family life and motherhood ?

Design ?

Home projects - ya know, if I never get to them ?

A little of each - and will that allow me to find a niche ?

I wonder the same thing about my shop.

What is my long term goal ?

What am I doing right ?

What am I doing wrong ?

What should I do next ?

And when you look at the best of the best - the people who have been doing this for years with their beautifully streamlined blog layouts and topics , their orders on Etsy in the thousands - you wonder ... how the heck will I ever get there ?

I guess the answer is , you just have to keep on truckin' .

Where you are is just where you need to be and whatever it is your chasing , you'll catch it eventually .

Wow - cheesy much ?

But seriously - love this quote and will be keeping it in mind as much as I can during this process .

Wednesday Words of Wisdom

This week I started a  " Wednesday Words of Wisdom " post for The Impeccable Pig's blog , and I really liked the idea , so I thought I'd bring it over here as well.

There is so much more that I would like to do with this blog .

There are so many moments that I feel inadequate .

Every day , I wish I was more productive .

This quote really helps remind me to stay positive , to be happy ,

and to shine , no matter what . Even on days when I don't feel like it .

Because someone is always watching .

I hope to teach Annie what this quote suggests .

True beauty comes from the inside - out .

We create beauty through out attitudes , behaviors , and actions.

Keep your head up y ' all .
